CAN I SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes! You can structure your payments in one of 2 ways:
You can make a deposit and then let the balance charge automatically on the balance due date.
You can make a deposit and click the "Make a Payment" button on your trip summary whenever you want to make an additional payment in any amount and if there's any balance left, it will be charged on the balance due date.
IS TRAVEL INSURANCE AVAILABLE?
YES. We partner with Travel Guard and will quote you based on your trip details. After you book your room if you elect to have a quote for insurance, we will send it to you. Rates are per person, depending on the cost of your trip. Travel Insurance can be added at any point; however, in order to receive the full benefit of the travel insurance, you must add it within 14 days of booking. Otherwise, the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit we offer will not apply and the only benefits will be for in-travel issues. Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is nonrefundable.
Trip Cancellation Terms: Cancellation penalties could be up to 100% of the cost of your vacation. If you do not purchase insurance, you are responsible for any cancellation penalties. Jennifer Brown and Vagablonde Travel are not responsible for any cancellation penalties and your deposit is not refundable if you cancel and have not purchased travel insurance. Jennifer Brown is not liable or responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of cancellation & interruption, emergency medical/transportation, loss of baggage & personal effects, flight & travel accident, and/or rental car physical damage if insurance is not paid. WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes! A passport is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and Mexico. - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH ROUND-TRIP AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION?
Yes. We use AMSTAR in Cabo! After you book you will be sent a link to book your transportation. You will need your flight information to book.
CAN YOU HELP ME BOOK AIR TRAVEL?
YES, we can assist with airfare. Please contact Jennifer with your travel dates, departure city, number of people traveling, and special requests with the wedding name. However, Jennifer cannot guarantee that we have better rates than what you may find on your own and we cannot guarantee we are contracted with every airline. There may be instances when we cannot book your air if we do not have a contract with that specific airline, such as Spirit Airlines. We are also not able to use credit card points or miles towards your flight if booked through the travel agent. You are welcome to purchase your flights on your own and utilize these points. Please submit your flights as soon as they are booked so we can arrange your airport transportation.

You can easily flex your dates to see the change in pricing. You can also go directly to the airline's website from the google page to purchase the flights. It searches all the internet for the best price. I recommend going direct to the airline because they often have the best communication with the customer on flight delays, flight changes. I've heard of clients miss their flights because cheapoair or expedia didn't relay the message of a flight time change.
There really is no "perfect time" to buy flights, that's a myth. It would be like trying to find the perfect time to fill up your gas tank to get the best price on gas. It's constantly changing, based on the occupancy of that particular flight, gas prices for airliners and their own business models. I just start my search on google flights and check back a few times over a 2-3 week period. Once you see a price you are comfortable with purchasing, go ahead and don't look back!! That's my own philosophy. It may fluctuate some yet but like I said, there is not magic crystal ball out there that's going to tell you the best time to buy. The closest program I've found that can predict the best flights and share them with you is an app called Hopper.
I FOUND A CHEAPER PRICE ONLINE, CAN YOU MATCH IT?
Finding cheaper rates than the group rates online is very rare! However, if you have found cheaper rates, please take a dated screen shot that includes the final total price (with all taxes and fees), what the price includes (dates and room category), the website you found it on and the date and time on your computer and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org . We will ask the hotel for a price match. It may take several business days to hear back from the groups department for the match. We have been successful in the past in reducing entire group contracts, but hotels can also reject price matches due to having a group contract in place.
IS THERE A TOURIST VISA FEE?
Your tourist VISA fee should be included with your airfare. You should not need to purchase a separte tourist VISA to enter Mexico.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE AT THE RESORT?
Yes! However, if you would like to never get dressed, you can order room service for every meal but if you would like to go to the restaurants, some of them do have a strict dress code- especially for men. No tank tops for men- must have sleeves! I would also encourage men to bring slacks and closed toe shoes. For breakfast and lunch, swimsuits and cover ups with sandals are fine. Golf pants with a V-Neck are acceptable at most places but the “nicer” restaurant requires men to wear closed toe shoes, slacks, and a collared shirt so be sure to read the resort information packet with dress codes.
DO I NEED AN ADAPTER FOR MY ELECTRONICS?
You do not need an adapter for your electronics; the outlets in the Mexico will accept U.S. plugs.

HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE WITH FRIENDS AT THE RESORT OR FAMILY AT HOME??
If you are looking for a way to communicate with each other at the resort, you can call from room to room using the hotel phone. If you have an IPhone, you can turn your data off and/or keep your phone in airplane mode (to avoid potential fees with your carrier) and then jump on the WiFi at the resort. This will allow you to send IMessages and even Face-Time. Other Apps are useful and work great- Voxer, Viber and WhatsApp. They all work on the WiFi at the resort. Download the app Viber and make sure everyone you are wanting to communicate with has the app as well. You can add contacts from your phone when you give the app access to contacts. Very simple! This will save you from racking up rates on data while away. You will have free phone calls to the US and Canada from your hotel room but this app will allow you to send pictures to each other and communicate with each other! It's an excellent option for traveling abroad!!
